Warne or ‘Warnie’, as the star is affectionately known, ‘sprinkled his gold dust everywhere’. Remembered for his considerable contribution to cricket, the spin bowler ‘gave so many irreplaceable memories throughout his stellar career’. Warne played 145 tests for Australia, as well as 194 One Day Internationals, taking over 1,000 wickets combined and establishing himself as the ‘King of Spin’.

In 1993, during the first test of the 1993 Ashes series at Old Trafford in Manchester, Warne delivered what is now named, ‘The Ball of the Century’, or simply, ‘That Ball’, when he bowled out  English batter Mike Gatting. On Boxing Day in 1994, Warne famously sealed a test match win for Australia with a hat-trick against the English side.
