Plaza Premium Group has opened the Blush lounge at Heathrow airport.

The lounge is located near Gate 2 within the departures area of Terminal 4 within the space that formerly served as the Art & Lounge.

The Blush lounge is capable of accommodating up to 105 passengers at a time and features a spacious entrance lobby area, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the runway, a buffet with Kosher meals available upon request, complimentary tea, coffee, house wine and beer. There is also complimentary wifi and charging stations within the lounge.

The lounge is open Monday-Thursday and Saturday-Sunday from 3pm until 7pm to all travellers regardless of airline or class of travel. A one-hour slot costs £27, rising to £39.60 for two hours.

Bookings can be made via Plaza Premium’s official website. The group is offering 20 per cent discounts off lounge packages for walk-in and online bookings for those that sign up to the company’s Smart Traveller membership programme. Amex Platinum and Dragon Pass corporate cardholders can also access the lounge for free.

Okan Kufeci, senior VP Europe, Middle East, and Africa, Plaza Premium Group said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming travellers to the new Blush Lounge. The lounge provides travellers a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. On top of that, we offer an array of Kosher dining options upon request to suit the different dietary needs of our travellers.

“The opening of the new Blush Lounge strengthens our presence in Heathrow Airport as we have several properties under Plaza Premium Lounge across Terminal 2, 4 and 5, as well as Aerotel, our 82-bedroom in-airport hotel located inside Terminal 3, Arrivals.”

The Plaza Premium Lounge network spans over 70 international airports. In the UK, this includes lounges at London Heathrow, Gatwick, Isle of Man and the recently opened lounge at Edinburgh airport.
