Greek brand KORRES has just opened its store at the Power Plant Mall in Makati, Philippines. A space devoted to Greek natural beauty, visually expressing the art of science and the soul of Greece, this boutique is an open invitation to all to join KORRES’ Full Circle universe – a beautiful journey from seed to skin and back.
Born and made in Greece, founded in 1996 by Giorgos Korres, a Pharmacist and Lena Korres,a Chemical Engineer, KORRES is inspired by their homeland, nature, apothecary heritage, science, and aesthetics; all these elements are visualized in the new KORRES boutique through innovative forms of aesthetic expression which is the brainchild of Greek architect, Manos Babounis.
Details and materials of traditional architecture, creating an intriguing play of shadows and lights, meet folk culture in a store that becomes the gateway to the noble, poetic Greek natural beauty. The prevailing white color is associated with spaces that best reflect the brand’s roots – the pharmacy and the lab, as well as an attempt to infuse the boutique with the Aegean bright light in a glowing symphony with the deep blue-of-Greece typography.
Once inside the store, the KORRES Full Circle story unfolds, inviting visitors to discover the essence of the Full Circle’s six distinctive labs: Soil Lab, Extraction Lab, Molecular Lab, Formulation Lab, Design Lab, Recycle Lab. Products are displayed on white wooden carved shelves, a tribute to the iconic aesthetic of the Aegean, combined with industrial metallic shelves against a wall covered with modern tiles. All part of the KORRES trademark concept based on contrasts. An overall modern, fresh, minimal interpretation of KORRES heritage and ethos.
