Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike, have led the glamour as Cheltenham Festival 2023 continues with a second day of fabulous fun. Braving the rain, Princess Anne’s daughter cut an elegant figure in a teal coat by Rebecca Vallance. The statement piece is crafted from a wool blend and features a houndstooth pattern which has been recently favoured by royals including the Princess of Wales and Princess Eugenie. As the ‘Queen of Cheltenham’ Jade Holland Cooper told Tatler: a show-stopping piece of outerwear is a sure-fire way to elevate a race-day ensemble. Zara, working with stylist Annie Miall, finished the look with a bespoke Juliette Botterill hat, the ‘Lottie’ clutch from Aspinal of London, and Holland Cooper’s ‘Sloane’ boots.
On Tuesday, the couple arrived for the festival with Natalie Pinkham, a onetime confidante of Prince Harry, and Zara’s BFF Dolly Maude, who acted as maid of honour at the Tindalls’ 2011 wedding to Mike Tindall. On Wednesday, Camilla, the Queen Consort, made an appearance, accessorising her neutral ensemble with a glittering brooch that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth II.
