Welcome to high noon of the post-pandemic summer blockbuster season. All the movies that Hollywood has had in the works over the past few years are finally hitting theaters, which means their stars are hitting the red carpet just as the sun is pan-frying us for dinner, served with a lemon wedge on the side.
But good news for us filets-in-waiting is that the fashion showing at the premiere of Jordan Peele’s new film Nope took those lemon wedges and made a tall glass of icy lemonade: the suits were suiting, the sneakers were sneaking, and designer Emily Bode’s red carpet hot streak rambled on.
