The 10th edition of the Forbes annual 30 Under 30 States ranking has arrived. What is it about? As many will know, this is the ranking drawn up every year by Forbes magazine to reward the 30 youngest talents in more than 20 different sectors. Judging this year’s US rankings there were, among others, prominent figures such as Taylor Swift, tennis player Billie Jean King and Warner Bros president Channing Dungey.
The cover of the Forbes Under 30 issue leaves no doubt, Travis Scott is certainly one of the winners. The hip-hop superstar collaborates with many global companies (last but not least McDonald’s!) To provide brand image consultancy and constitute a means of communication between celebrities and companies. The Forbes ranking takes into account more than 20 categories and a total of 600 names of talented young people, 30 of which conquer the place in the ranking. Among these there is also the Italian Massimiliano Tirocchi, co-founder of Shapermint, a useful tool for women who buy shapewear; but also many famous names.
One of the famous names is that of Ben Simmons, star of the Philadelphia 76ers, Daniel Ek, co-founder of Spotify, Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, director Ryan Cooger but also Taylor Swift herself and Camila Mendes. One fifth of the list is made up of migrant boys and girls in North America from the United Arab Emirates, Senegal and Ethiopia. Randall Lame, chief content officer of Forbes, said in this regard that “In spite of the pandemic, a global recession and the active social justice movement in the United States, today’s young entrepreneurs have more initiative than ever. They are determined to solve the problems of the world and to chart a better way for us all ”.
