Beach Dining Refined
Dining at Spiler means a taste of Andalucia with a hint of Asia, and all whilst enjoying views of Africa! Here, classic beach dining has been elevated with a touch of the exotic. David Fernández, Executive Chef of Kempinski Hotel Bahía, has been seeking out unique artisan food producers as well as high quality local ingredients from the sea and the land for his fresh, summer dishes. He confirms that he is ‘proud to be supplied by the best farmers and fishermen to present a true feast of seafood, crustaceans, great cuts of meat, fresh fruits and vegetables. The kitchen prepares open-fire Argentinian grill dishes, seafood including oysters, fresh fish and signature dishes that can only be found at Spiler.
Touch of the Exotic
We started with some fun (and delectable) tacos – so tasty with the Asian mint. Then for sharing we chose the spicy shrimp, fresh Andalucian prawns with an oriental twist.
The salmon with mango and mint ice-cream was perfect for a hot summer’s day!
If after all that you’re still hungry, then you can choose fresh fish or prime cuts from the grill, or traditional Spanish rice dishes.
Puddings are light and perfect for summer – we chose an avocado treat with white chocolate – very original.
Romantic Dinners
Sundowners, cocktails are romantic dinners are also on the menu at Spiler. The beach club transforms itself with soft-lighting and elegant table settings each evening perfect to enjoy these long summer nights.
