In the ever-expanding category of “things that used to work in California, but thanks to bureaucrats they don’t anymore,” we get to add the entire Interstate 5 freeway every time it snows. Somewhere in Sacramento some fool recites the new Idiot Motto (“better safe than sorry”) and now clear open roads are closed because of a dusting on the hills.
