Scottish carrier Loganair has announced plans to resume its services between Glasgow and Donegal following its suspension in October 2021.
The twice-weekly flights will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from July 1 until September 24, 2023. This will represent the only direct air link between the UK and the town of Donegal in northwest Ireland.
While the route itself is not new, having launched in the early 1990s, this is the first time that the airline will fly its ATR42 aircraft on the route.
One-way fares start at £74.99 and are already available to book online.
The route will also provide onward connections at Glasgow airport to points within the carrier’s route network across the UK.

“We are delighted to be able to restore this important connectivity between the UK and Ireland, helping families stay connected and facilitating leisure breaks too.
“We expect our summer flights to be extremely popular; therefore, we encourage customers to book as soon as possible to secure the best fares.”
