Holly Willoughby joked she will “spend all day in tears” as she marks her 40th birthday today.
The blonde beauty is celebrating her milestone day at work on This Morning with her co-star Phillip Schofield, 58, who threw her a huge surprise for her grand entrance.
Holly was clearly overwhelmed by the generosity of her colleagues, who lined the corridor of the studio, which was also decorated with balloons, as she arrived at work on her big day.
As she passed the crew of the hit ITV daytime show, she was seen entering her dressing room, which Phillip was also standing in, filming her reaction.

Holly said: “Oh my God, thank you, thank you,” as she passed her colleagues and entered her room. “I’m just going to go in here and cry,” she warned them.
Phillip was heard wishing his pal a happy birthday as she was taken aback by the huge light up number 40 that had been placed in her dressing room.
“I’m going to spend all day in tears, aren’t I?,” she asked her friend as she disappeared out of shot in the touching footage.
Holly has also opted to wear a special dress for her birthday, revealing she would be wearing the dress her mum wore on her 40th birthday to host the show.
Sharing a split image of her mum and herself wearing the same outfit, Holly wrote to her seven million Instagram followers: “This photo of my Mum was taken on her 40th birthday at the party she had in the garden.
“I remember this day so clearly. It’s a strange thing to reach the age you remember your Mum being!
“I asked her if she’d kept the dress and of course she had… Strange moment zipping it up this morning, wondering how she felt on her big day…
“I can’t be with my Mum or Dad today but wearing this in her honour makes me feel closer to them… love you Mumma!,” finishing her emotional post with the hashtag: #sothisis40.
