While 2022 saw the Royal Oak turn the big 5-0 (accompanied by a celebratory, grail-worthy drop), this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Royal Oak Offshore, a sportier version of the Royal Oak that hit the scene in 1993.
Naturally, the Swiss Haute Horlogerie — basically, English for “high-end watchmaker” — has plenty of new Royal Oak Offshore iterations ready for the celebration.

With a splash of color, the mechanics and craftsmanship really shine through on this special edition timepiece, which is limited to 100 pieces.
Royal Oak Concept Split-Seconds Chronograph GMT Large Date
The Royal Oak Concept Split-Seconds Chronograph GMT Large Date is undoubtedly a game-changer, arriving with an interchangeable strap and self-winding Calibre 4407 — the first Royal Oak Concept to ever boast these features.
Rounding out at 17.4mm in thickness matched with new impressive details, I’d say the latest ROC is a pretty big deal.
Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin
Next, we have the Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin — and the name ain’t just for fun; it’s 2.9mm-thin.
Unlike previous platinum renditions, this RD#2 successor arrives with a new titanium coat and smoky-blue dial.
Limited to 200 units, this timepiece is sleek, light, and straightforward. What more can I say?
Royal Oak “Jumbo”
Ah, the OG Jumbo, the watch that started it all for the Royal Oak series.
For the latest iteration of the fan-favorite timepiece, Audemars Piguet installs a new blue-grained dial, which resembles that of a night sky — or diamond dancin’, as Drake might say.
Jumbo fans can expect the ultra-thin Calibre 7121 movement — introduced last year — to again power the latest Jumbo, which will only be available at AP’s global boutiques.
Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph
Eyes up as the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph just went stealth mode.
Crafted for the first time with a black ceramic case, the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph surfaces in a tonal black look, complete with a matching bracelet and Petite Tapisserie dial (Petite Tapisserie used to be just a Jumbo thing, but it spilled over to the other models).
In short, this timepiece is plain badass.
