At Spellman Signature Auctions’ upcoming “Auction on the Ocean at the Elliott Museum,” an eye-catching 1970 Plymouth Superbird will be crossing the block. This classic muscle car has undergone a comprehensive restoration and is 1 of 1,935 ever produced. It’s powered by a Super Commando 440 CI V8 engine that produces 375 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Mated to the engine is a 4-speed manual A833 transmission. As you can tell from the pictures, this Superbird is finished in FJ5 Lime Green with a black vinyl top. Inside is a black interior and Hurst pistol grip shifter. This is a magnificent example of the iconic Superbird.
