Holistic healing aside, Lucknam Park’s other crown jewel is its Michelin-star dining destination, Restaurant Hywel Jones. Tables are often booked months in advance by diners eager to indulge over the seven-course seasonal British feast. The grand dining room has impressively high ceilings, and walls that are dressed with paintings of the Acropolis, nodding to the owner’s Greek heritage. Winter visitors might expect a menu of rich mushroom tortellini with winter truffle; delectable venison; artisanal cheeses with the most divine truffle honey; and a Burford Brown egg, extravagantly cooked in a water bath at 63 degrees for two hours (the only way you’ll want your eggs served going forwards). Come the morning, you’ll find the tables loaded with incredibly chic floral teacups and saucers in time for a breakfast of, well, whatever you desire.
