2022: 17 years of marriage, and Camilla is given the Queen’s seal of approval

Fast-forward 17 years and the couple’s relationship has gone from strength to strength, as they have faced some of the most tumultuous years in recent royal history side-by-side, from Megxit to Prince Andrew’s legal troubles. At the time of their wedding in 2005, there was much public outcry over the issue of whether or not Camilla would ever be Queen Consort, with the question quashed at the time, as they said she would be styled as Princess Consort.
