A Pastor Says He Heard Rihanna Playing in Hell

We certainly didn’t peg a priest hearing Rihanna’s music in hell on my 2023 bingo card. But here we are.

Pastor Gerald A. Jonhson took to TikTok to share his alleged, brief stint in the fiery depths of hell (talk about a plot twist), where the “Lift Me Up” singer was allegedly on the playlist.

After suffering a heart attack in 2016, Pastor Johnson found himself in the blazing inferno instead of the pearly white gates, where he claimed he encountered “indescribable” happenings that he “wouldn’t wish on [his] worst enemy.”

Particularly, the priest stumbled across a designated room where the demonic advocates sang torturous renditions of hits like Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” Bobby McFerrin’s “Dont Worry, Be Happy,” and Jazmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows.”

“I knew that on Earth, a lot of lyrics, music, and songs were inspired by demons,” Johnson said in the video, which has garnered over 4 million views.

“Every lyric to every song is to torment you as to the fact that you didn’t worship God through music when you were on the earth.”

Why was a man of God cast into hell in the first place? Pastor Johnson claims the answer came from Jesus himself — yep, you read that right – who said that the priest secretly wished punishment for those he didn’t forgive, resulting in his temporary damnation.

Rihanna’s had some bad judgment in the past, but we certainly didn’t expect her to end up on the hell’s soundtrack.
