It feels like just yesterday that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian kissed in Aladdin costume on the set of Saturday Night Live. Unbeknown to us all at the time, it would later spark a nine-month long relationship, a whole lot of discourse and some premature tattoos. Several of which have been removed according to eagle-eyed fans.
Five months after the couple split – reportedly due to different priorities – the comedian has seemingly bid farewell to his ink after he was photographed shirtless at a beach in Hawaii with rumoured girlfriend, Chase Sui.
Davidson had several tattoos dedicated to the reality star including “my girl is a lawyer” and an Aladdin tattoo in reference to their first kiss. He went as far as to have “KIM” branded into his skin which is also glaringly absent.
During an interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show in 2022 Kim Kardashian reflected on the sweet gestures, adding that “my girl is a lawyer” was her favourite ink.
“He wanted to do something that was really different. First tattoo he got, I was like, ‘Oh, so cute, thank you! Oh my god!’ Second, whatever, I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s so cute.’ But that’s what tattoo people do, right? They get tattoos of what’s going on in their life,” Kardashian explained.
“Yes…I just think he was like, ‘I want something that’s there that I can’t, you know, get rid of my tattoos,’” she added in reference to the branding. “He’s in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and his neck tats. So he’s like, ‘I don’t want to be able to get rid of it or cover it up and I just wanted it there as like a scar on me.’”
Davidson was recently linked to Emily Ratajkowski and is now believed to dating the aforementioned Sui.
