In fashion news, American luxury fashion brand Michael Kors is dropping a limited capsule collection, in collaboration with luxe Italian sportswear brand, Ellesse. The 24-piece capsule collection focuses on a retro-vintage athleisure aesthetic, with a luxurious and modern touch.

The collection is designed with the Michael Kors aesthetic but provides a fresh design spin by utilising Ellesse’s signature colour palette of fiery oranges and reds, with classic shades of navy blue and crisp white. You can expect to see bold track jackets and pants, vintage-style swimsuits adorned by playful patterns, chunky sneakers, logo slides, neon bucket hats and Michael Kors’ must-have Hudson backpack and Bradshaw shoulder bag.

The capsule collection is beautifully completed with a one-of-a-kind insignia created for the limited edition collection, which fuses together the iconic logos of Michael Kors’ and Ellesse.

Fronted by international supermodel Emily Ratajkowski, Brooklyn-based rap musician Jay Critch and a host of musicians, models and artists, the collection’s vibrant, sporty and glamorous designs come to light through a campaign set to transform you to the beaches of Miami – the location for the campaign which was shot by renowned fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey and styled by Mel Ottenberg, editor-in-chief of cult pop magazine Interview.

At the heart of the campaign, you’ll find it is exudes a fun, cool and energetic disposition that boasts the unique fashion DNA of the Michael Kors and Ellesse brands.

The capsule collection will also be brought to life in a series of pop-up installations and activations around the world this May.
