Spread the love

Like Zara, Maude has a deep love of horses: she previously ran Dolly Maude Equine Ltd, a company which rehabilitated injured racehorses, and is married to Chris Maude, a jockey-turned-valet. The two families are close, with Zara chosen as godmother to one of the Maudes’ sons, and Dolly occasionally spotted looking after Mia, nine, Lena, four, and Lucas, one, at equestrian events.

It is possible that, after attending the Trial Day, the BFFs will reunite for the Cheltenham Festival, which will take place from 14-17 March. The royal racing pack often grace Cheltenham’s turf for the event, with the Queen Consort, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice (perhaps with their husbands in tow), Princess Anne and the Princess of Wales, all previously spotted taking in the action.

Often, Zara arrives not only with her fun-loving husband, Mike, but also with her partner-in-crime: the much-loved Dolly Maude.
