Bar-United, the virtual bar hosted by Chivas, has a full CNY lineup for those of you staying at home.
You won’t have to go far to get in on the Chinese New Year action — Bak Kwa, bottles, and cocktails included. The online hangout by Chivas, known as Bar-United, is organising virtual events to uphold the merriment of CNY celebrations. Given plans to stay within the confines of our own homes, it’s certainly inviting to pour a drink and catch up online.
First up, Dato’ Joey Yap will take the Bar-Live Stage to give his talk, ‘5 Strategies to Create More Income in 2021’. The Feng Shui and Chinese Metaphysics master has plenty of tips to share on how we can make the best of the Year of the Ox. This event takes place on 10th February from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. Take a shot of liquid courage and use the opportunity to ask Dato’ Joey Yap any questions you may have in mapping out your year ahead.
For the next event, find yourself back at the Bar-Live stage to meet celebrity chefs Sherson Lian and Johnny Fua of Kitchen Mafia. The duo will be showing viewers how to recreate Chinese New Year staple dishes; Beet & Berry House Cured Salmon Yee Sang and the 8 Treasures Stuffed Chicken. But if all else fails, not to worry, you can order the dishes too have them delivered right after the segment. The Gastro Live Experience takes place on 13 February from 1pm to 2pm.
And now, for drinks and snacks. Bar-United has teamed up with Oloiya for special offers with every purchase of alcohol, made available till the end of the month. These include their Spicy Chilli Pork and Lovely Heart Chicken.
