Tonight’s episode included a Battle that earned a standing ovation from the judges, who declared it the best Battle of the season. Check out the night’s performances below.

Blake said Deion had more pitch problems than Victor. John said he was more confident about Deion going into it, but he exceeded expectations. Ultimately, he chose Victor as the winner of the Battle. Deion was eliminated.

Ainae vs. Anna Grace (Team Kelly)

Kelly paired up these singers to perform “You Know I’m No Good” by Amy Winehouse. Their coach advised them to do “half” the number of riffs they did in rehearsal.

Nick said he thought Ainae’s performance felt “fresh.” John agreed with him. Kelsea said she understands why Kelly loves both singers so much, calling it a “difficult choice.” Ultimately, she chose Anna Grace as the winner. Because none of the judges chose to steal Ainae, she was eliminated.

Raine Stern vs. Andrew Marshall (Team Nick)

Nick paired these artists up to sing “Adore You” by Harry Styles for their Battle performance. He said he thought it was a great combination of their influences as singers.

John called it a “heartbreak” that he didn’t get Raine on his team, but thought Andrew was better. Nick said that both artists deserve to be in the competition, but ultimately chose Raine as the winner. Blake hit his button to steal Andrew, so he’ll join his team.

Pete Mroz vs. Savanna Chestnut (Team Blake)

Blake paired up these singers to perform “Have a Little Faith in Me” by John Hiatt. Blake said it would come down to which singer makes people “fall in love with this song all over again.”

John said Savanna’s performance was missing a “sense of urgency.” Blake agreed that she needed to let everyone in. Ultimately, he chose Pete as the winner. Savanna was eliminated.

JD Casper vs. Kenzie Wheeler (Team Kelly)

Kelly paired up these singers to perform “Fishin’ in the Dark” by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Blake criticized Kelly for blocking him from getting Kenzie on his team. Nick said Kenzie had “authenticity.”

Kelsea said Kenzie doesn’t know how good he is. She chose him as the winner of the Battle. JD was eliminated from the competition.

Rachel Mac vs. Bradley Sinclair (Team Nick)

Nick paired up these two singers to sing “Your Song” by Elton John. He said he wanted to show off the young artists on his team. At 16, Rachel is actually the youngest person on the show this season.

The judges gave them a standing ovation for their performance. John said it was “what music is supposed to feel like” and called them “perfect.” Nick said it was the best Battle this season. He ultimately chose Rachel as the winner. Bradley was eliminated.

Carolina Rial vs. Rio Doyle (Team Legend)

John paired up these singers to perform “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye and Kimbra. Brandy was brought to tears, telling them that they were “stars” who sang from their souls.

Kelsea praised their stamina, but thought Carolina had more experience. Blake said he couldn’t always understand what Rio was singing. John ultimately chose Rio as the winner of the Battle. However, he chose to save Carolina, so she’ll stay on Team Legend.

Next week, the Knockouts start. Snoop Dogg will be serving as a Mega Mentor this season, and Kelly Clarkson will be back in her judge’s chair. Check it out next Monday at 8/7c on NBC.
