Thursday 3 June marked the return of the season – after a pandemic-induced absence – with the launch of the Van Gogh Alive Exhibition at Kensington Gardens. In the former private gardens of the palace and opposite the Royal Albert Hall, a purpose-built construction has been installed to house the visual spectacular showcasing the likes of Starry Night and Sunflowers from June until September. Two of London’s fabulous Delevingne sisters, Poppy and Chloe, were amongst the first to enter the 19th century artist’s immersive world in the latest stage of its worldwide tour and onto its 65th city. Chloe was flanked by her adorable children, eager to experience the works for themselves. Elsewhere, enjoying canapés from Café Provencal and English sparkling wine from Hampshire’s Hambledon was Tatler’s contributing editor Anaïs Gallagher (sans her handsome chef-farmer boyfriend Julius Roberts) and recent Tatler cover, the Marchioness of Bath, looking sensational in a strapless black gown.
