The evening kicked off with a wine reception courtesy of trendy English Sparkling Wine brand, Gusbourne Wines, with a three-course dinner in the Long Library and auction to follow. The latter was hosted by Sotheby’s UK chairman, Lord Dalmeny, with lots including a £19,000 luxury holiday to Egypt and a £11,500 seven-night stay in St Barts.
