The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge both pinned yellow daffodils onto their jackets this afternoon to commemorate St David’s Day while on a trip to Wales for the occasion.

During the royal couple’s fleeting visit to the country, they are expected to learn in detail about the importance of the agricultural industry to rural populations and how exactly community organisations are celebrating the history of the region of Blaenavon, which became a World Heritage Site in 2000.
