In 1983, Battersea Power Station shuttered its doors. Once the third largest generator in the UK, supplying a fifth of London’s electricity, the iconic landmark stood empty and fell into disrepair for over three decades until Malaysia’s SP Setia and Sime Darby Property stepped in to develop the site.
