Baroness Campbell of Loughborough, the FA’s director of women’s football, revealed that the duke ‘was very engaged and really wanted to understand much more about the women’s game. I think he’s really aware of how much the women’s game is growing and developing, and it’s terrific for all of us to have him here.’
Like his dad, Prince George is an Aston Villa fan, although it is not yet confirmed which team Charlotte is drawn to. In 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their two older children to see the team play an away game against Norwich City – the first fixture the young royals had ever attended.
Princess Charlotte recently spent some time in the spotlight, besides her brothers, eight-year-old Prince George, and four-year-old Prince Louis, for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The young princess was caught sweetly singing beside her mother at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert on 4 June. Waving a Union Jack flag while mouthing the words to Diana Ross’s Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Charlotte looked thrilled to be watching the stars beside her parents.
