While the modern watch world features countless examples that boast functionality and reliability, it’s important to remember that the tool watch derived from historic events like world wars. Nonetheless, the military watch has evolved into a category that now incorporates luxury design and complex movement technology to enhance its experience. The Panerai Submersible showcases its robust design as a true survival instrument, originally made for divers to tackle the deepest parts of the ocean. The horologists at Panerai are proud to reimagine the Submersible model with two new adventurous variations, including inspiration from the Italian Special Forces. The new Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali Experience Edition and Submersible Forze Speciali brings rugged back to luxury watch vocabulary.

The Submersible Forze Speciali Experience takes shape as the field-focused version, using a camouflage color way to blend into any outside environment. Its robust 47mm case shape is crafted from DLC-treated titanium, with a green ceramic and titanium anti-clockwise rotating bezel. Sealed to an impressive 300-meter water resistance, the special edition Submersible dial displays its hours, minutes, small seconds, flyback chronograph, countdown, and second reset functions. The covered backcase includes an engraving of the Forze Speciali Experience logo, commemorating the special 50-piece release from Panerai. Fit on a comfortable camouflage rubber strap, the all-new Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali Experience is currently available for $57,500.

The second utility watch to make its introduction is the Submersible Forze Speciali, a stealth-like version of its partnering release that subtly highlights its updates with vibrant touches. Aside its all-black construction, the Submersible comes available with a vibrant blue rotating bezel that draws attention from all angles. Its black and white dial also presents light green accents to clearly decipher other key functions like ‘time to target’. Being that this variation focuses more on the diving, the backcase includes a detailed engraving of a scuba diver at work. The Submersible is powered by Panerai’s P.9100/R caliber, an in-house automatic movement responsible for achieving a 3-day power reserve. The Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali is currently available through an authorized dealer for $29,300. Check back into duPont REGISTRY for more upcoming luxury watch news and releases.
