A new social members club will open in London’s Soho neighbourhood in March 2023.

1 Warwick is the brainchild of Maslow’s, the team behind Mortimer House. The club will occupy six floors of a renovated 1910 Neo-Baroque house on the corner of Brewer and Warwick Street, with interiors by design firm Fettle featuring vintage furnishings and bespoke pieces.

Facilities will include a members-only, year-round rooftop restaurant and bar with a wraparound terrace, members lounges, a studio and gym, private and shared workspaces, and meeting and event spaces.

Dining venues, including the public ground-floor all day restaurant and bar, Nessa, will feature menus from chef Tom Cenci.

1 Warwick also promises a “dynamic” cultural events programme with the likes of masterclasses, screenings, live podcast recordings and panel discussions.

The club says that there will be a range of membership options “to suit a range of needs”, whether people are looking for a social space after hours, a daily private desk or a workspace for a few days a week.

Guy Ivesha, Founder and CEO of Maslow’s, commented:

“I am so pleased to present 1 Warwick to our growing community. After launching Mortimer House in late 2017, I felt it may be impossible to find a sequel that embodies the history, architecture and prominence of our original location in Fitzrovia. Yet, after much hard work, perseverance and determination, my team and I are happy to welcome you to 1 Warwick.

“While it shares the same heartfelt hospitality that Mortimer House has become known for, 1 Warwick has a distinct personality that befits its location, culture and history, in one of London’s liveliest neighbourhoods.”

Business Traveller explored the rising interest in the industry in the September 2022 issue of the magazine:
