The Hollywood A-list descended on Venice this weekend for the nuptials of French society couple Alexandre Arnault and Géraldine Guyot, with Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams all in attendance.

Alexandre is the second son of LVMH boss Bernard Arnault, one of the richest men in the world, among the likes of Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. The 29-year-old works for his father’s company, as executive vice president at fine jewellers Tiffany & Co, and previously worked at luggage brand Rimowa. His wife is also in the fashion business, and is the founder of the accessories brand D’Estrëe – with many of the celebrity contingent being fans of her designs.

The bride wore a stunning high-neck lace gown, featuring a full skirt and long sleeves, with her long blonde hair elegantly pinned in a low chignon, with a long veil attached. She was photographed alongside milliner Stephen Jones, as well as her father, ahead of the ceremony. Meanwhile her adorable flower girls and page boys wore matching white and burgundy outfits, with flower crowns for the girls and corsages for the boys.

The couple were previously married in June in Paris, at a town hall ceremony in front of a handful of guests. For that wedding, the bride wore a vintage JW Anderson gown, featuring a high neck, long, puff sleeves and delicate embroidery details. They are thought to have started dating in August 2019 and became engaged during the Christmas period in 2020.

Alexandre is one of five siblings from his father’s two marriages. While his youngest sibling Jean is still in school, his other two brothers and only sister all also work for LVMH. Delphine is director and executive vice president of Louis Vuitton; elder brother Antoine is CEO of Berluti and has another role overseeing image, communications and the environment for LVMH, while his younger brother Frédéric is CEO of Tag Heuer.

These have been the best society weddings of 2021 so far
