From bright to pastel, this capsule collection is what you need for a relaxed and carefree attitude.
During a time when jet-setting to a neighbouring island for a week of bliss has become a rare novelty, we can only close our eyes to imagine. A long stretch of pristine white sand. The sounds of crashing waves. Salt-laced air. Warm, balmy climes. And relax…
Like a balm to our land-bound weary soul (or even a sly attempt to remind us of what we’re missing), Louis Vuitton releases a Summer 2021 capsule collection perfectly placed for sunnier weathers and warmer climes. The one destination that we’ll be sprinting straight towards when it opens: Beachside. Or perhaps, to be cautious and remain closer to home, poolside.
A trip to the perfect vacation Louis Vuitton’s By The Pool collection truly is. Discarding all hints of the House’s iconic shade of deep brown, in place are sorbet shades of pinks, yellows, and oranges in soft sunset gradients upon the oversized monograms. From the sweet pastels, a flip to the rich jewelled tones of deep navy, mauves and reds, for when the sky splits at dusk for the inky midnight sky. There’s parasol-striped sets, breezy kimonos and light, casual separates that catch the slightest of breeze. A ode to an endless summer. Or a hopeful wish for the coming summer to be spent outdoors in general.
