The 44-year-old actress stepped away from the show back in February 2019 after starring on the soap for 13 years.
Reflecting on her time on the show, Kym has now admitted she can see herself making a comeback “one day”.

“I really do miss everyone, I really miss the street,” she told Entertainment Daily.
“When I left I always said I’d come back one day and I will. I just needed to get out and take a little breather and do some other things. I have no doubt that one day I’ll go back there and dip my toe back in.”
After quitting the programme, Kym has been keeping herself busy with hosting Morning Live, working on her OK! Magazine column and pursuing other opportunities, which she says have been put on hold.
She continued: “I have been really busy and I’ve been so fortunate, but obviously the year I left was really weird.
“I left in October 2019 and went straight into doing loads of other bits and bobs and I had loads of stuff planned for the year after that obviously all fell through. I thought, ‘Oh no, what a year to leave!’”
It comes just days after it was reported Kym will miss the first week of Morning Live to have a hernia operation.
It is said another presenter will be stepping into Kym’s shoes to host alongside Gethin Jones, 42.
The Corrie favourite has been in pain for several months while on the waiting list for the past year, a source told the Sun.
Kym first revealed she was waiting to have surgery on her hernia last year, stressing the condition was causing her agony and extreme heartburn.
“I’m on medication for hiatus hernia, which means part of my stomach is protruding into my oesophagus. It gives me heartburn, so I take medication called lansoprazole,” she shared.
“I posted a photo of myself in a sports bra last week as I’ve been trying to get back into exercise. I’m suffering from a hernia and it’s causing me pain. I’m still going to the gym but I’m not able to lift weights or go as hard as I normally would.”
The TV star added: “The doctors have suggested physio, but it’s not getting better and my schedule is so packed. I’m going to book surgery to have it removed.”
