Katie Price is “over the moon” as police have decided to move forward and prosecute a man who is alleged to have mocked her son Harvey in a video.

The man is said to have taken to social media to post the clip, which was passed by a fan to the former glamour model.

The video, which OK! has chosen not to show, sees a woman wearing a black vest top with her blonde hair styled back, saying: “If somebody says something horrible to Harvey, what do we say?”

The woman then panned the camera over to her friend, a man who could be seen with his face painted in black and his eyes crossed, replying: “Hello you c***.”

Appearing to be disappointed, the woman scowled: “Harvey!”

Katie, who recently snuggled her “beautiful boy” Harvey, 18, as he got ready to move into full-time care, took to her Instagram stories to repost the video and hit out at the two people who shared it.

Now, a source has told The Sun Online that Sussex police have decided to prosecute the man – who cannot be named for legal reasons – in the video and Katie is “glad action is being taken”.

A source said Katie is “glad action is being taken”

They told the publication: “Katie is pleased the case is moving forward and action is being taken – it’ll show people that there are real consequences to internet trolling,” says a friend of the star.

A separate insider said that the case is moving forward and the TV personality has been contacted to provide evidence in court.

Katie’s representative confirmed the news as they told OK! : “It has been reported correctly the police are pressing ahead with the hope to secure a prosecution in regards to this trolling incident.”
