Kate Ferdinand has revealed she decided not to breastfeed her baby boy Cree and instead bottle feeds him.
The 29 year old, who recently admitted her worried over her stepchildren’s first day back at school, took to her Instagram feed to share a sweet snap of herself looking lovingly down at her little man as she fed him before opening up about her choice.
The snap sees the blonde beauty with her hair tied back into a high ponytail while wearing an all-black ensemble as she holds her three month old in her arms with a bottle in one hand.
In the caption, she told her 1.4million followers: “Me and my bubba [smiley face emoji] I just love it when he looks at me when I’m feeding him”. [sic]

The former TOWIE star went on to explain that she kept her choice not to breastfeed her son a secret up until now as there is a lot of pressure for mums to do it.
“I chose not to breastfeed Cree, for so many reasons and I was worried about admitting it at first as their is so much pressure to breastfeed, but thankfully now I just know that a fed baby is a happy baby and Cree is the happiest little soul and we are so grateful,” she said alongside a baby emoji and a smiley face emoji.
Kate, who recently said she “cried every single day” for five weeks after giving birth to her baby, continued: “We had a few issues with other bottles for Cree, but @mambaby_uk has been amazing for us as a family.
“They give babies the breastfeeding experience because their shape requires the same movement that a baby would use at the breast. They also prevent colic with the vented base.
“If Cree is happy we are happy,” followed by a milk bottle emoji.
Many of her fans were quick to praise the star for being so honest as one person wrote: “This post warms me so much! Having had a double mastectomy it was so hard for me to constantly tell people I wasn’t breast feeding – even worse when they asked why! Fed is best [red heart emoji] thank you for using your platform to raise awareness for the rest of us xxx”. [sic]

“Thanks for speaking up for mother’s who did not or were not able to breastfeed! so sick of mothers making other mothers feel inadequate or selfish.” another said followed by a green heart emoji.
While a third added: “I didn’t breastfeed and it’s the best decision I ever made!!! There’s too much pressure nowadays to not breastfeed and I think that needs to stop! We should just all do what we feel as Mums is the right thing for us and our babies xx”.
