Home organisers spark joy in China as they teach people to declutter

BEIJING – Meet China’s versions of Japanese tidying guru Marie Kondo, who are sparking joy in a growing number of Chinese households with their home organisation skills.

They are teaching the growing middle and upper classes, particularly those in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, how to tidy their homes in a move to simplify their lives.
