Holly Willoughby has candidly opened up about her fears with homeschooling her children.

This Morning star Holly, 39, revealed she’s worried about the amount of time her three kids spend in front of screens as she homeschools them amid the national lockdown.

Holly, who divided Dancing on Ice viewers with her gown on Sunday night, is mum to 11 year old Harry, nine year old Belle and Chester, six, who she shares with husband Dan Baldwin.

Speaking to headteacher Christine Cunniffe via video link on Monday 18 January’s This Morning show, Holly confided in the educator.

Holly then explained she’s concerned about the amount of screen time her children have now they learn at home via a computer.

Mum-of-three Holly asked: “My big fear is that we will work really hard to not put them in front of screens and I sort of tot it up and I’m like ‘oh my goodness’.

“Here I am with three children spending online learning in front of a screen and then they want to talk to their friends on a screen, and then they want to play, and it’s on a screen.

“I’m suddenly like: ‘Am I just throwing it out of the window and giving up with holding back the tide of screen time?’”

Christine, who works at LVS Ascot, reassured the TV star as she said: “There’s only so much you can do, and that’s what the children they need to have social engagement with their friends.

“It is just talking to them about the amount of screen time, and trying to do other things.

“It’s balancing, and getting the right times, and it is talking and encouraging each other.”
