Last night saw Lady Lola Bute’s inaugural Eternity Ball at Alva Coachworks in Kings Cross. The charity gala was organised by the society beauty to raise money for four charities, Action On Addiction, James’ Place, Place2Be and Grow at Alva Coachworks.
In what was surely one of the most glamorous social occasions of the year so far, It girls, actresses and aristocrats rubbed shoulders for the good cause. Lady Lola’s family were of course out in force, including her perennially chic mother, Serena, Marchioness of Bute, and sister, Jazzy De Lisser. The Aboahs – who are known to be close friends of the family – were also in attendance en masse, with Charles and Camilla there with their daughter Kesewa.
Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and her look-a-like best friend Ella Richards posed together, as did hot new couple Sienna Miller and Oli Green. Kate Moss caught up with Charlotte Tilbury and Stella McCartney, while newly-single Poppy Delevingne chatted with Lady Mary Charteris and Jack Guinness.
After dinner – in which each course was prepared by a different restaurant (with the River Café’s beloved chocolate Nemesis cake to end) – there were two auctions, both a live one and a silent one. The highlight was a bidding war between Sienna Miller and Jordan Barrett over a six-night holiday in Mustique – which Jordan won.
