Golden Goose Co-Creation

A little bit of Venice has arrived in Australia today with the launch of cult sneaker brand Golden Goose Co-Creation experience in their stores across Sydney and Melbourne.

In the words of Lizzo Beating – it’s about damn time!

A chance to literally co-create your own Golden Goose product, the experience lets you customise your Golden Goose sneakers, fashion or accessories. Everything from denim, T-shirts, jackets, and bags can be given a personalised finish in collaboration with Golden Goose artisans and artists. Illustrations, badges, studs, patches, charms or even a handwritten message as a gift. The only limit is your imagination really.

“You can buy and customise everything everywhere, only at Golden Goose you can personalize and give your creative input everywhere,” says Silvio Campara, Golden Goose CEO.

The Golden Goose Co-Creation experience is a nod to the brand’s Venetian heritage, a region whose handcrafts and artisanal wares are still highly sought after. While Venice is commonly known for its history of glasswork art and stunning gloves, it is also the site of some of the world’s most talented shoemakers. In the town of Fiesso d’Artico, there are approximately more than a hundred workshops that specialise in the complete construction of footwear.

Golden Goose became a cult favourite for people who liked their sneakers made with a human touch.

Since it launched in 2000 by husband-and-wife duo Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo, Golden Goose has become a staple symbol for those who see the originally imperfect as the ultimate expression of style. The flaws in things that make them, like they do in humans, unique.

The Co-Creation experience will be operating out of the Golden Goose boutiques located in Westfield Sydney, Westfield Bondi Junction, Chadstone Shopping Centre and Golden Goose Melbourne Flagship store.

In addition to Co-Creation, Melbourne stores Chadstone and Collins Street flagship will also introduce the LAB where you can witness first hand the treatment and distress techniques – all done by hand – of the iconic sneaker.
