Finnair is expanding its short-haul European network for summer 2023, adding new destinations and increasing frequencies to several European capitals.

The airline will operate three-times-weekly flights to the Norwegian town of Bodo during the high season, and also resume flights to Slovenia’s Ljubljana in summer 2023.

Finnair will also launch flights to Milan’s Linate airport, joining its existing operations to Malpensa airport. The airline says that it will fly to more than 50 destinations in Europe this summer.

Ole Orver, Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer, commented:

“Travel has recovered at a good pace and we are increasing flights to European routes to meet the increased demand in Asia. For example, the Bergen and Bodo routes are seamlessly connected to our flights to Japan.”

At the end of last year, the airline announced plans to add flights between Helsinki and Asia for the summer season.
