Set to be one of the luxury travel industry’s most exciting launches this year, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection aims to pave the way for a new era of cruising. The Collection will comprise of three ships, the first of which is called Evrima – with the cruise ship’s maiden voyage planned for this November.
A vacation onboard Evrima will combine the freedom of yachting with the lifestyle and relaxation of a Ritz-Carlton resort. The ship is planned to stop at a range of destinations and offer several excursions, based on guests’ interests and the level of activity they want to take part in. Measuring 620 feet, the cruise ship has been designed to have a residential feel with large living areas, high ceilings and full-length windows.
Most recently, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has announced that the spa experience onboard Evrima will be created in collaboration with cruelty-free and vegan-friendly beauty brand, ESPA. Many of the treatments will be inspired by the sea and designed to help the guests rest and recharge, with a range of them being customizable and tailored to each guest and their preferences.
ESPA has an ongoing focus on natural beauty and sustainability, with all of its glass, cardboard and paper wrap packaging being 100% recyclable. As part of its recycling efforts, EPSA has partnered with recycle:me by THG, which allows customers to return plastic packaging from any beauty brand to ESPA for free recycling. All of ESPA’s products are expertly formulated and COSMOS Natural Certified and the brand is constantly reviewing how it can deliver luxurious products that are in harmony with nature.
“We are excited to have collaborated with ESPA to bring our wellness experience to life,” says Douglas Prothero, CEO of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. “We remain committed to setting a new bar in luxury cruising, which includes thoughtful curation of all guest experiences. ESPA’s dedication to holistic wellbeing is evident throughout the spa menu and we look forward to introducing it to our guests.”
“ESPA is delighted to expand its partnership with The Ritz-Carlton by offering our wellness services aboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection,” says the general manager at ESPA International, Daniel Golby. “We are committed to delivering truly unique treatments, tailored to each individual, and the exclusivity and attention to detail that are hallmarks of The Ritz-Carlton standards of hospitality will allow us to do so in a world-class setting.”
