“They say a picture says a thousand words,” he began as the first picture shows his dad about to burst into tears.
“Happy 60th Dad. My hero, my friend and my Dad. You’re the kindest soul I know and you’ll put anyone before yourself.”
The next picture saw Kelvin with his dad’s car, with the third showing his dad posing for the picture in front of his new car.
“We know how much you’ve always dreamed of this car so to see your face yesterday made my heart burst with pride and happiness. You deserve it and we are so lucky to have you,” he continued to write.
“A special thank you to @baytreecars @maxwellpinchbeck who helped to make this happen. The best service I’ve ever experienced.”
Kelvin went on to reveal his father couldn’t believe it was his own car, adding: “He actually said to us ‘how long have I got it for’ Forever Dad it’s yours! #LifeBeginsAt60 #AsSoonAsThePubsOpen…”
The final picture showed a throwback of Kelvin with his dad and his family from a get-together when pubs were open.
Many of Kelvin’s fans and celebrity pals waded in to commend him on his lovely gesture, as Strictly’s Janette Manrara commented: “Awwww!! Happy Birthday to him.”
Anthony Quinlan added underneath: “Amazing mate! Happy Birthday to your old man,” while Michelle Visage wrote: “THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL.”
