Chelsea Halfpenny has left her fans in complete shock and awe after showcasing her brand new hairdo in a singing video.
The former Emmerdale actress, who is most well known for playing the role of Amy Wyatt on the popular soap opera, took to her Twitter to debut the new look with her 112,600 followers.
The TV personality posted a clip of herself belting out the lyrics to Irene Cara’s Out Here On My Own, where she could be seen wearing a low-turtle neck lilac long-sleeved top with her brunette hair.
Usually sporting a blonde ‘do, the star styled her mane straight down and painted her face with a light layer of foundation, alongside eyeshadow, mascara and a brown lipstick.

Promoting a concert she gave earlier this week, the 29 year old wrote in the caption: “Come and watch my right hand completely upstage me as ‘The Claw’ at my ‘Leave a light on’ Glowing star concert on -Tuesday 19th Jan- for @LJProds **TICKET LINK IN BIO**”. [sic]
Fans and celebrity friends were quick to comment on the video as fellow Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward wrote: “So beautiful. Your voice and you!!!!” followed by four red heart emojis.
Chelsea’s on-screen mum Laura Norton chimed: “I’ll second that,” with an emoji of a woman holding her hand up, while Sophie Powles added: “I’ll third that! Wow wow wow”.
“You are so very beautiful xx,” a fan also gushed, as another tweeted: “This is STUNNING Chelsea!”
Since leaving Emmerdale Chelsea has starred in Casualty, the same show that launched her career. Chelsea acted in the role of Alicia Munroe from 2015 to 2019.
And following this, she swapped the screen for the stage to take on the part of Judy in 9 to 5: The Musical. The star also has some live gigs lined up for when she is able to perform again.
Chelsea has been dating her former Emmerdale co-star James Baxter for nearly three years.
James played Jake Doland on the hit show, from 2007 to 2009, which means the pair did not actually overlap on set.
Just last week Chelsea shared a snap of her beau, writing: “Just a ridiculously handsome boy with a ridiculously huge heart and who is very lovely and funny and I’d like to keep him plz thanks”. [sic]
She added: “@jamesbaxterrealtalk (back in the day when we had tans and went out on little boats and drank beers and all the good stuff),” alongside a crying emoji.
