The Cotswolds social set were in attendance: Amanda Brooks dazzled among the cow parsley in pink, flamingo-esque Chanel alongside her daughter, Coco, also in Chanel. Lady Bamford, the founder of Gloucestershire stalwart Daylesford Organic, another Cotswolds mover and shaker, was also there, commenting ‘it was the happiest fun wedding ever and your speech was real and true’ on Jeremy Clarkson’s Instagram post of the newlyweds embarking on their first dance. Jeremy, a proud father if there ever was one, captioned the video: ‘The happiest day of my life’. Flora Gill, the daughter of journalist A.A Gill and the former Home Secretary Amber Rudd made it to the party, so too did Jodie Kidd. And, undoubtedly, very many of Clarkson’s close friends from Rugby school.
