Patsy Palmer switched off her video call during an interview on Good Morning Britain after noticing the description on the screen called her an “addict”
Ben, 46, and 50 year old Susanna started the chat by asking if she had moved across the pond to avoid people shouting “Ricky in the street” after her famous Bianca Jackson line on EastEnders.
Patsy, who recently hit out at “disgraceful” trolls in an angry Twitter rant, laughed as she replied: “Not really, not just for that reason. Maybe one of them.”

Before long, however, the 48 year old star noticed the description on the bottom of the screen read: “Patsy Palmer: Addict to Wellness Guru”.
Clearly unimpressed, she said: “You know what actually, I don’t even want to do this interview because I don’t even want to look at what it says at the bottom of that screen.”
Referring to Piers Morgan’s now-infamous storm off set last week after ranting about Meghan Markle, Patsy continued: “So I’m just going to switch off, do a real Piers Morgan and just say, it’s not okay to have ‘addict to wellness guru’ at the bottom of the screen.”
As Susanna apologised, Patsy continued: “‘My issues that I had years ago were…
“It was talked about by me many many years ago and it’s over now. So don’t worry about it but I don’t really want to talk to you now.”
Ben then said: “I’m so sorry about that Patsy, huge apologies,” as she switched the laptop off.

He continued: “It wasn’t our intention to upset you. It certainly wasn’t our intention to upset her.”
Susanna added: “I had no idea that was actually on the screen. Well that’s a shame. Our apologies to Patsy and yeah, she’s entitled not to do the interview and we carry on.”
Patsy has previously been open about her battle with addiction.
She also wrote in her autobiography, titled All Of Me: “By my 20s I was bingeing my life away on cocaine, ecstasy, and enough vodka and Laurent Perrier Champagne to quench a small village’s thirst for several hours.
“I would be out of my head for two or three days in a row – whole chunks of time were lost.
“I took so many drugs I’m amazed I survived.” The star managed to get sober in 2004.
