Society tablescaping duo, sisters Lady Jemima and Lady Alice Herbert, brought together a glamorous crowd for Lay London’s festive lunch last week. After a year delivering tablescapes straight to people’s doors during lockdown, ‘like Deliveroo,’ laughs Lady Jemima, who was married earlier this year at the Pembroke family seat, Wilton House, in the finest of style. The Marchioness of Blandford admired the marbleised candlesticks flown over from Italy while Lady Alice caught up with Tor Dashwood over truffle rigatoni. Lunch swiftly turned into dinner, when pub owner Jack Greenall, who also owns The Pheasant near Lambourn and belongs to a famous brewing dynasty, politely ushered guests onto the cobbled streets in time for the Chelsea set’s next mealtime serving.
