Standout lots from the sale include important Impressionist paintings by Claude Monet and Edgar Degas, as well as a group of Old Master paintings by the likes of Bernardo Bellotto and Jean-Antoine Watteau. The Gettys’ beloved lacquered antique furniture will also star, with pieces inspired by Japanese and Chinese prototypes popularised in Europe in the 17th century. Alongside the interiors sale, pieces from Ann’s wardrobe, including handbags and jewellery, will also be sold online.
