Today, all-new Seiko “Black Series Night” watches have been launched. The launch consists of two brand-new models. All-New Seiko

This model is limited to 4500 pieces worldwide. It is designed in Seiko’s distinctive ‘turtle’ shape, fondly named for its silhouette. This is an especially meanginful choice for diver’s as they believe sea turtles to be a symbol of good fortune. The deep black dial is adorned with a new developed green ‘Lumibrite Pro’ on the hands and hour markers. This increases visibility during night dives. The dial also features a date display between 4 and 5 o’clock. Curved sapphire glass protects the dial and a black and grey bezel frames it.

This watch is powered by a calibre 6R35 automaitc movement which prvides up to 70 hours of power reserve. This is safely housed within a stainless steel case that is finished with a black hard coating for extra durability. This timepiece is finished with a black silicone strap that will be comfortable to wear whilst exploring the watch’s water resistant of up to 20 bar.

This model exhibits a very sleek finish that combines concepts of both land and sea. It is the first watch in the Black Series to be a land based concept with dive influences. This creates a very unique aesthetic that is sure to stand out from the crowd. The Alpinist first launched in 1959 and was designed for the Japanese ‘Yama-otoko’ mountain men. These people required a rugged and durable timepiece, and Seiko provided just this. The watch features a black dial that is detailed with easy-to-read baton and numeral indices with pops of bright green ‘Lumibrite Pro’. The automatic movement that powers this watch is housed within a stainless steel case that has been finished with a black hard coating. For a sleek and modern look, this timepiece is secured on the wrist using a stainless steel bracelet with a black hard coating to perfectly match the case.
